Hawaiian Chieftain Tall Ship

The tall ship Hawaiian Chieftain returns to Jack London Square to offer walk-on tours, three-hour Adventure Sails, and educational programs for area students. The topsail ketch is currently on a six-month tour of California ports, entitled "hands-On History of Youth," which refers to its primary mission of bringing living history experiences to young people. The ship will offer public Adventure Sails, which feature an opportunity for guests to help sail a real tall ship, as well as maritime storytelling and a sea shanty. Adventure Sails are scheduled at 2 PM on February 13, 14 and 20. Tickets are $55 adult, $45 students/senior/active military, $35 children 12 and under.
